UP COMING EVENTS AND NEWS:
Kim was in Edmonton this past summer attending a Level I Integrative Restoration (iRest) Yoga Nidra training with Richard Miller. She will be travelling to San Rafael, California this March to continue and deepen this training that has proven to be life changer for her and some of her students.
iRest is the ancient practise of Yoga Nidra which is a meditative practise designed and refined to help release us from our erroneous perceptions and guide us to our true nature.
Kim has been weaving iRest Yoga Nidra into Savasana in her regular classes and offers private classes in iRest Yoga Nidra. If you are interested in learning more and experiencing the affects of iRest please feel free to contact Kim or check out the iRest link in the right side bar.

PRIVATE CLASSES:
In a private class we can focus on problem areas where you have an imbalance that is creating pain, weakness, tightness or a combination of these on the physical, emotional and spiritual plains.
You may be looking to enhance your personal practice. One-on-one instruction can help bring your home practice to an entirely new level.
Perhaps you are not comfortable in a group setting; here is another great reason to book a private class.
If your are not sure just what it is you need please feel free to call. We can determine what will work for you.
WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW FOR MY FIRST YOGA CLASS?
- "Asana" means pose, the sanskrit word for every yoga pose ends in this, ex: trikonasana, triangle pose. This is the physical branch of yoga, other branches include Karma Yoga - the yoga of service and Bhakti Yoga - the yoga of devotion.
- Avoid eating for 2 to 4 hours before class, the more you have eaten the longer you should wait.
- Wear comfortable clothing, preferably quite fitted so I can see what your body is doing right and if it needs correction.
- Communicate with the teacher, if you have a question ask it
- If you have your own mat bring it.
- Have fun :)
